Los Angeles DRX 9000 Spinal Decompression Therapy

Ken, Hawthorne, CA

I suffer from headaches. They get severe and more recently, over the past few years, it’s gotten quite frequent. It can be daily sometimes. It got to the point where it’s just unbearable. So I needed to do something to find some way to alleviate the headaches.

Suzan is the first chiropractor I went to, but I’ve tried many medical doctors. I’ve spoken to many other doctors that this would have been their area of expertise or not. I was not getting the right answers. I could tell that they didn’t understand the type of headache I was getting. That was a problem, because I do find some medication that works for me is completely counter-indicated by regular medical doctors. There was something that was not jiving.

I’ve worked with Suzan for a few years now. We were doing other treatments other than the machine that we’re using now, trying to figure out what the problem is, and a lot of it was nutritional. A lot of it was with supplements. Where there was some relief at times, oftentimes it didn’t really solve the problem. Other issues it was helping, but that particular issue, which was my foremost issue, was not really being addressed.

Then somewhat recently Suzan got a new piece of equipment, and we decided to give it a try. Although it’s a very imposing machine, something about it sort of linked with what I felt my problem was. As a lay person, I wasn’t sure the right thing to do. But for some reason, it just, in my mind, said this could really work.

From what I understand, it takes sometimes 10 to 15 treatments for you to feel relief. I actually felt relief right after my first treatment, which was amazing. Now I can go for weeks without headaches, and that’s pretty amazing. It’s just such a really good feeling knowing that you can wake up tomorrow and not be in pain. What a concept.
